Drones and wind
Make sure that you are aware of your drone’s wind speed limits and remember that wind speed increases with height. Keep an eye on the weather forecast 24 hours before you plan a flight. A good tool to have is a hand held anemometer which will give you the wind speed at ground.
There are lots of useful and fairly accurate weather apps which can provide the information you need before going out with your drone. You should pay particular attention for what the app says for the gusts.
